Everything but the bagel seasoning wasn’t something I discovered until I started travelling to the US – a lot. PS. I am Canadian.
Everyone is always talking about Trader Joe’s and this seasoning. I had to get some and see what the fuss is about.
Well yes, it totally lives up to the reputation. It actually tastes like an everything bagel… without the bagel.
Everything bagels are my ultimate favorite bagel, clearly, I wasn’t hard to win over!
Now, when I take my frequent trips down south, I have a long list of Canadians that want me to bring back a flat of this seasoning!

Have no fear Canadians, if you want to make this, you can. Epicure also makes one (you can find that here). I have compared them it is far less salty than the American version, but will totally work!
After testing a few ways to make a protein packed dip to go with my raw veggies, I nailed it with my ranch recipe, and figured I could use the base recipe and make it work for Everything But the Bagel seasoning.
This dip comes together in 5 minutes and a quick whirl in a blender.
Everything But the Bagel Protein Packed Dip
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek Yogurt
- 3 tbsp Everything but the bagel seasoning
- Put all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until desired consistency.
- Store in the fridge in an air tight container for up to a week.
