Garlic parm Brussels sprouts in the air fyer mean crispy leaves, crispy cheese, and you won’t even believe these are tiny little cabbages. This weeknight dinner side is ready in about 10 minutes, too!

I have been on a kick of adding veggies into my air fryer for quick week night side dishes! My go to veggie side for months has been this Broccoli recipe.

But, it is time to shake it up a bit.

So, from broccoli to Brussels sprouts I go.

Brussels sprouts are one of those foods from my childhood that have been a hard pass for a long time.

Sorry mom, but steamed and boiled Brussels sprouts are just a no. It was a no back then, and it is a no now.

But, crispy Brussels sprouts. COME TO MAMMA… and dada because BT even likes these.

These are next level with the freshly grated parm flakes (also called petals).

I use the big petals of parm because they too get all crispy and mixed into your brussels sprouts. But have no fear regular grated parm will work too!

I love air fryer veggies mostly because the cook times are much shorter than in the oven. For these it is 8-12 minutes in the air fryer, versus 20- 25 minutes in the oven. Because of the powerful convection power of the airfryer the crispy outer layer is also a solid 10/10.

Oh, and those little outside leaves that fall off and get extra crispy. THOSE ARE LIFE. Think little garlic infused Brussels sprouts chips.

This recipe as written, fills up the basket of my Power Fryer XL (5 quart). If you have a smaller model, you will have to do multiple batches. If you pile them all up, they won’t get as crispy.

I do think this recipe serves 3-4 people as a side dish, but I have also been known to take down the entire portion … myself.. in one sitting – they are that good.

If you are still waiting to decide if an Air Fryer is worth it (ps. It is!), I have included the oven directions for you as well.

Don’t forget – if you make this recipe, I want to see it! Tag me @mealplanaddict over on Instagram, or come post a photo in the Meal Plan Addict Community!
