Food Processor - I have the Breville Sous Chef Food Processor
Ingredients
12medjool dates, pits removed
2tbspdark chocolate chips
1/3cuprolled oats
1tbsp water
2tbsppeanut butterI use homemead peanut butter in the recipe, but feel free to sub any nut butter of choice - including wow butter.
1Tbscocoa powder
Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
Add all ingredients into a food processor - EXCEPT the sprinkles.
Pulse the food processor until the ingredients bind together. If the batter is sticking to the container and not starting to form a ball in the processor, add water only 1 tablespoon at a time until it starts to form a ball. If you add too much water, you can counter than with adding more oats.
Using a .5 teaspoon cookie scoop, scoop up the "dough" and form into balls.
Roll the balls in the sprinkle mix - but go easy on them!
These are best served after they are chilled. Put them in the freezer for 15 minutes to really set.
Store in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer. These last a week in the fridge, and 3 months in the freezer (but to be honest, the really wont last because they will be eaten!)
Notes
Nutrition information was calculated using homemade peanut butter, and not including the sprinkles.
