Equipment

  • Food Processor - I have the Breville Sous Chef Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 12 medjool dates, pits removed
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter I use homemead peanut butter in the recipe, but feel free to sub any nut butter of choice - including wow butter.
  • 1 Tbs cocoa powder
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a food processor - EXCEPT the sprinkles.
  • Pulse the food processor until the ingredients bind together. If the batter is sticking to the container and not starting to form a ball in the processor, add water only 1 tablespoon at a time until it starts to form a ball. If you add too much water, you can counter than with adding more oats.
  • Using a .5 teaspoon cookie scoop, scoop up the "dough" and form into balls.
  • Roll the balls in the sprinkle mix - but go easy on them!
  • These are best served after they are chilled. Put them in the freezer for 15 minutes to really set.
  • Store in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer. These last a week in the fridge, and 3 months in the freezer (but to be honest, the really wont last because they will be eaten!)
